Angelina "The Movie"

Comeback and Debut

To theaters near you: The Dark Knight
To blogs near you: Me
To Christian bookstores near you: Album: Al Mirar Atras by Sara & CoffeeHouse

The few times I remember going to the movies when I was little was to see Dick Tracey and Batman. And I was amazed. I was like five back then so I was pretty gullable. Incredible. In my mind, all I saw was a superhero. No critically acclaimed actors (to my interest) no best picture, no best screenplay.. etc. It was all fun and action with Batman fighting against The Joker. What all kid goes to the movies for. Now, I'm faced with 9/11 attack comparisons, which batman was better, which joker was better. I mean, what's the whole point of going to watch an action epic if you're gonna criticize all throughout, no? I can't wait to see the new suit and gadgets.

I'm back. With very little time to post anymore because I just have too many things to do now, like... uhm, like... let me check my planner. I've been on vacation lately, trying to catch up with my weblife and other matters. I'm also waiting to discover new grounds, open my heart to new experiences such as... well, you'll know when your ready. But all I can say right now is that The Lord has been good to me and those around me. A friend of mine died a few weeks ago, just like that. Didn't give anyone a heads up, but everyone rests assured that he is now in His presence.

The cd is titled "Looking Back"(cover art). With an alternative rock taste or indie as it is now widely known, Al Mirar Atras talks about seeing your life in retrospective and the how you'll be able to see major changes that you went through since Jesus Christ came into your life. Its in spanish so I hope your heart is open in order to feel the message that Sara & CoffeeHouse are trying to get across.

Merry Christmas

1. Merry Chistmas. Somewhere this past week or so, I heard that it was no longer politically correct to say Merry Christmas. If so, than why are we celebrating such a "happy holiday". If it wasn't for the birth of Jesus Christ, why celebrate such a day.
2. We tend to get intouch with people who matter very little to us just for the sake of 'being in the holiday spirit' or having the holiday spirit. We send cards, make phone calls, email long 'x-mas' chain letters that just annoy us instead of cheering us up.
3. Presents are so over-rated now a days. Everyone seems to be wanting something. Company is so much more welcomed than anything else that could be bought with money. Of course the new iPhone or the new iPod touch would be the best next thing after your great grand cousin's uncle's brother's neighbor comes to vivit.
4. Nothing to do with Christmas, but it was wierd as heck. Just the other day, as I was leaving my house, closing the gate behind me, BANG! out of the blue, a cd hit me on the head. Just like that, a blanc cd. Who threw it? If I knew, it wouldn't be odd, now would it?
5. I've failed a friend for tow years in a row now. His birthday was yesterday, Dicember 25th. I couldn't make it to his place as I had promised for the past two months, yet I couldn't call either. I'm sorry.
For everything else that happened this past few months... i'll be posting here, if I can remember...
